Side Team - 3 Mages

For those who don't know, I got back into wow with a friend, who while I'm multiboxing, I've been doing so with a +1. My friend brad is my tank on his Paladin and with our accounts linked it makes playing a lot of run with RAF all around.

We've been leveling together which can prove problematic when schedules don't align, so along comes my side team, 3 mages.

Impressions?

I'm guess this won't be my only side team, but man were they enjoyable. I ran them up to lvl 15 last night and it was SOoooooo easy. Same macros, say keybinds, same mana usage, same gear choices. I kinda spoiled myself.

Oh, and the damage was insane. Warlock and Priest damage don't really get up there until later when you're combining all of your abilities and whatnot. Surprisingly, I've never played a mage in wow, and last night I was blown away by how much damage they did. Most mobs died in a single fireball barrage. On my mixed team it takes a bit more.

Longterm?
Who knows how far I'll take this team. I've got to bring up a Paladin and whatever I decide for my 5th in a week or two. I may choose to tack my 3 mages onto that 2 person team when their levels are equal but only time will tell.

I'm trying to take things easy. No huge goals or projects, but just fun teams to get on and play with. I picked up herbalism on my druid the other night because it was fun to ride through mulgore and pick flowers for a while. I'm sure I'll do the same on my paladin some night with mining. I'm not a very competitive person and my time is limited so keeping this project as simple as possible is my number one priority.
